Hostgarden · built in Bulgaria

Computing that gives its heat back.

We put computers where their heat is wanted. Small GPU nodes stand in homes, farms and workplaces, owned by the people who host them, and work together as one network for AI. The work gets done, and the warmth stays in the room.

The idea

A computer turns nearly all the electricity it uses into heat. Today most of that heat comes out of large data centres, where it is thrown away, and more energy is spent just to get rid of it.

Hostgarden turns this around. Instead of one big building far away, we spread the computing over many small nodes in places that need warmth: a house in winter, a greenhouse, a workshop. Each node does real work for real clients, and its heat does a second job on the spot.

The people who host a node own it and share in what it earns. The network grows one home, one farm, one workplace at a time.

Heat used, not wastedThe warmth from each node heats the place it stands in.
Owned by its hostsEvery node belongs to the people who keep it, and earns for them.
Many places, one networkNo single building to fail: work moves to a node that is free.

How it works

Three simple parts, each doing what it is good at.

A node in your place

A compact machine with powerful graphics cards, set up in a home, farm or workplace, on the local electricity and internet.

Joined into one network

Every node connects out to Hostgarden, nothing is opened to the internet. Clients send AI work through one API, and each job goes to a node that is free.

Work done, warmth kept

The node answers, the client pays per use, the host earns a share, and the heat warms the room instead of a cooling tower.

What we stand for

Technology that fits the place it lives in, and pays back the people who carry it.

Eight ideas, one garden. None of them stands alone: heat is only useful where people live, which means many small nodes, owned by the people who host them, close to where the power is made. Point at an oval or a card: the two light up together.

Heat is a resource

Every watt a computer draws ends up as heat. We put that heat where people need it, so the same electricity does two jobs instead of one.

A stake for the owners

Hosts are not tenants of a cloud. They own their node, and every job it does earns them a share. The network grows because it pays the people who carry it.

Decentralised

Many small nodes in many places, joined by one network. Nothing depends on a single site.

Resilient

If one node is down or busy, another takes the work. Power cuts and broken links stay local.

Private

Open models on our own machines, no big platform in between. We count usage for billing, never keep what people ask or what they get back.

European

Built and run from Bulgaria, in the European Union, under European law.

Energy used where it is made

Each node runs on the power of the place it stands in, used on the spot instead of carried across the grid to a distant data centre.

Modular

Start with one machine and grow. No halls of servers kept running for a peak that may never come.

Join the garden

Hostgarden works when three kinds of people meet.

Hosts

You have a home, a farm or a workshop that needs warmth, and a good internet line. Host a node, own it, and earn from the work it does.

Clients

You build software that needs AI: chat, reading documents, search, speech, pictures. Use open models through one API, paid per use in euros or dollars.

Computing should warm something.

We are building the first Hostgarden nodes now. If you want to host one, use one, or help, we would like to hear from you.
